Venue is the location where a case is heard. For a venue locator for filing an Application for Adjudication of Claim in EAMS, go here.

The injured worker can choose between residence at time of filing or location where the injury occurred. The applicant's attorney can file in the county of the attorney's principal place of business (subject to objection).

An applicant or defendant can petition for a change of venue which shall be granted for good cause (LC §5501.6)  See regulation.
